I made Ella a huge batch of butternut squash today, and I thought I'd share how easy it is to make your own baby food.
First, I cut the squash in half and got rid of the seeds.
Second, I set the squash halves flesh side up in a dish.
Third, I covered the squashes with olive oil.
Threw the dish in the oven for about an hour at 350 degrees.
Scooped out the squash, added coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg and homemade chicken broth.
Pureed it and put it in some leftover baby food containers and into the freezer.
So easy, so healthy, so cheap....doesn't get much better than that!
