Dinner was amazing!
So, next time you're visiting us you must go to the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant. It was so wonderful! It was like eating dinner in an old colonial house. It was cozy and warm and lit by candlelight. Everything was very true to the time period. Even the staff were dressed in colonial outfits (not in a cheesy way though!). The menu was all traditional food - cooked to George Washington's liking. Rhett couldn't have picked a better spot. I had Hoe Cakes for an appetizer, which was corn cakes topped with bacon, crabmeat and some dressing. For dinner I had the salmon, which came with very simply steamed veggies and potatoes. Despite how wonderful the dinner was, the company of my husband was the best. Thanks you. ;)
