Fruit as dessert
Kimmi over at The Nourishing Gourmet just posted about the history of fruit. How it's always been used a pleasure/dessert food. Seth's food allergies make it hard to just open up anything for dessert. It takes planning and usually a very simple recipe. Just last night our Family Home Evening treat was fresh strawberries, bananas and mandarin oranges all cut up and soaked in a little bit of apple and orange juice. It was so simple and so yummy.

I love having just fruit as dessert! I've never been a typical dessert food fan (I don't care for cake, pies, cookies, etc.).
