Well, we had a great vacation a couple of weeks ago. We went down to my mom's to start driving around looking at land. No realtor involved yet, just getting out and seeing what we could see. Beautiful farms, so many beautiful farms. But, everything that is in our price range is mostly wooded and slopped....not ideal farming land. We'd like a mixture of woods and flat pasture. So I think we will need to go down on our acreage to find something we want. Anyways, here are some pictures from the trip.

...Seth, of course, had to keep up his manish figure on the trip, so he participated in a little yoga and some baseball...

I feel jealous. but to tell you the truth I'm not sure I would make the best farmers wife. I think I'm too lazy. Can we just send our kids to your house for the summer so they can learn to work? And I go somewhere tropical and tan. Get back to me so we can work out the details. I hate to admit it, but Anabelle is already two and she's never stoked a fire. Sigh. Things aren't what they used to be. aren't you guys supposed to be coming to my house for vacay? What's that about?
Looks like you had a great time! If you got excited about seeing a tractor why don't you come to Grandpa Ed's and really drive one! seriously he lets me and the boys drive them whenever we go visit...and it is fun = )
