The doctors appointment went much better than I expected! Dr. Irwin is awesome! It's just him in a one-room office - no office staff, no other patients. I think that helped Seth stay calm. He got down on the floor and played with both of the kids. He made Seth feel so comfortable and didn't do anything he felt was unnecessary. He made me feel good about what we're doing for Seth too. He said that we are doing all of the right things for him. He said that he could see him in there and we're doing a good job at helping pull him out. It is so good to hear those things from a doctor. He had Seth draw a picture and put it up on his wall. He's going to be coming out to our house in about a month to visit with Ella. (Yeah, I guess it's time for her to see a doctor) I think this is the first time I've ever felt like I could fully trust what a doctor was saying to me (other than our DAN! doctor of course!). His book shelf in the office looked exactly like ours - all of the same material (Dr. Sears, Energy Medicine, Nutritional Prescription, etc.) He was so sweet, he even gave me a hug when we left.
Seth is 37.5 inches tall and 40 pounds. My big boy!
